James Dolan - Partner, market-leading accounting, tax and advisory practice, Blick Rothenberg
James provides cross-border tax advisory services to multinational groups across a range of industries and sectors. James has a particular focus on helping US groups establish UK and European operations including advice on tax efficient holding and financing platforms, ownership and commercialisation of intellectual property, and mergers and acquisitions. James was previously part of the International Tax team at EY and also lived in New York where he was part of the UK tax desk advising US multinational groups on expansion into the UK.
Tom Redfern - Senior Partner, Redfern Legal
Tom has over 35 years’ experience as a solicitor in England and Wales.
Over half of that time has been spent in house with large and medium sized companies and the rest in private practice. He has assisted numerous companies and entrepreneurs entering the UK and European markets with a focus on ensuring his clients get the best start in their chosen arena
The practice, Redfern Legal, which Tom founded 10 years ago, provides legal advice and expertise to UK domestic and international clients. Redfern Legal has an active presence to be on hand to advise start-ups and internationally headquartered companies expanding globally. Tom advises UK and international organisations and business people on many aspects of law affecting their businesses. Clients regularly look to him for commercial and practical advice and options on both legal and other matters. He likes to keep things simple where that is possible.
Ian M. Waller – Partner, Nichols, Cauley & Associates, LLC
Ian has over 18 years of experience in public accounting serving both private and public companies primarily located in the Southeastern United States. Ian has a diverse background of external audit, risk management and consulting projects with clients, including community based financial institutions, financial technology service providers, mortgage banks, and distribution companies. Ian began his career at a large international accounting firm and has spent over 10 years at Nichols, Cauley & Associates. Ian’s experience includes working with US based companies with overseas subsidiaries and subsidiaries of foreign companies based in the US. Nichols, Cauley & Associates is a full service public accounting and consulting firm with offices throughout Georgia. In addition to the significant knowledge base within the firm, Nichols, Cauley is an independent member of BKR International, a leading global association of accounting and business advisory firms around the world.
